I am starting to realize that I don't take it well by just following orders.
I met up with friends last weekend and they accused me of being "ambitious" only because I noted that the only reason that I'm at a start-up (again) is that I don't mind working hard and taking the risk for the reward of having some money but also making a mark in the world. Apparently that's "ambitious."
Which might explain why I often cannot just shut up and do what my managers tell me to do.
Got an invitation from my friend to try out the new service from Six Apart targeted to old, late adopters such as myself. Given that I'm calling my spot in this neighborhood 'hulk' (soon to be changed into 'hulk's-something-or-other area of/for <insert-focus here>') I will probably focus on things that are make me mad. Either that or things that really annoy me.
Crap, that means I will fall prey to becoming the 'malcontent blogger' that I want to avoid.
Must think of a twist. That and perhaps adding snap-happy images.
